CHRISTMAS CAKE

Last minute CHRISTMAS CAKE for everyone who

wants to stay fit through this festive. Dessert with no sugar, no butter and with whole wheat flour.

Recipe is not so complicated so you will have still time to make it.

Merry Christmas.

Ingredients:

2 cups of whole wheat flour

2 tablespoons of cocoa powder

2 tablespoons gingerbread spice

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

2 teaspoons of baking soda

2 tablespoons of xylitol

½ cup of honey

2 eggs

1 cup of soy milk

½ cup of melted coconut oil

Filing:

½ jar of plum jam

On top:

1 bar of dark or milk chocolate

⅓ cup of soy milk

coconut flakes to spread on the cake

Directions:

  1. In the one bowl, mix all of the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, gingerbread spice, cinnamon, baking powder and xylitol.
  2. In another bowl, place wet ingredients: honey, eggs, milk and oil.
  3. Combine together by spoon.
  4. Spread some coconut oil on the baking pan. Place the dough and bake in the oven preheated to 350 F for 45 minutes.
  5. Take it out of the baking pan and let it cool down.
  6. Next, cut horizontally into a half. Spread plum jam and close it.
  7. In the small pot, warm some milk with one dark or milk chocolate. You can add some sweet flavor if you want by adding honey. When the consistency will be creamy spread the chocolate on the cake. And add coconut flakes or nuts on top.
