HOMEMADE APPLE JELLY
Nothing is better than grandma’s jelly. However, healthier version can be really delicious ! This time I made a jam with apples! I used xylitol as a healthy substitute for white sugar which has two times fewer calories than regular sugar !!! Isn’t it great news??? Xylitol is a natural sweetener derived from the fibrous parts of plants. This white powder looks like a regular sugar. However, has just healthy and unique benefits. You can eat your HEALTHY HOMEMADE APPLE JELLY with pancakes, add to oatmeal or use it as a substitute for apple sauces for your children!
Ingredients:
2 apples
1 teaspoon of xylitol
1 teaspoon of cinnamon.
Directions:
Pill and shred the apples. In the pot, put one spoon of water. Add shredded apples, xylitol and cinnamon. Stir time to time.Cook around 15 minutes. Place in the jar.
