AMAZING SALAD WITH TOFU
For a while I have been thinking how can I put more protein into my diet. While searching and trying new products out I have found TOFU.
Tofu is a soft cheese like product made from coagulation of soy milk. It has a form of soft white blocks. It is rich in proteins, minerals and calcium. It is a favorite vegans’ food, because it works as a great substitute of meat.
As a health benefits, it helps in weight loss, because it does not have many calories and provides youthful looking skin and gorgeous, thick hair. The proteins in tofu improve the elasticity of skin and toning facial muscles. As a result, it makes your skin youthful and supple.
Ingredients:
1 cup of 3 colors quinoa
2 cups of baby spinach
some salt
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 peaches
1 avocado
100 g plain tofu
pomegranate seeds out of ½ fruit
Directions:
- Cook 1 cup of quinoa in 2 cups of water. Let it cool down.
- In the meantime, wash the baby spinach.
- In the bowl, toast spinach with salt and olive oil.
- Cut the peaches, avocado and tofu.
- Pill and take pomegranate seeds out of ½ fruit.
- Mix everything together.
