HOMEMADE PLUM JAM

I do not remember when was the last time I ate something more delicious than this HOMEMADE PLUM JAM. Although it took me a while to make it but it was totally worthy. If you decide to make it, choose ripe plums. They work better.  While cooking, I added just some coconut sugar. In general, jam is sweet because of the natural sweet flavor of plums .

Spread some on your piece of bread and enjoy it.

 

Ingredients:

12 plums

1.5 tablespoon of coconut sugar

 

Directions:

  1. Wash and cut plums in half, pit them and place in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Drizzle well with 1.5 – 2 tables of coconut sugar.
  3. You can add more sugar to taste while its cooking. But If your plums are overripe or already very sweet, it is not necessary.
  4. Transfer plums in to a large cooking pot. Place it on the stove uncovered and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  5. They are different recipes. However, I cook the plums around 1 hour. Stirring time to time.
  6. Place it in the jar.
