MILLET PORRIDGE WITH MANDARIN AND DARK CHOCOLATE
Breakfast doesn’t have to be boring. Since in my kitchen millet is a necessity, I love to be creative with it. This time, I made Millet Porridge with Mandarin and Dark Chocolate.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of millet
1 tablespoon of coconut flour
1 banana
6 dates
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
50 ml of almond milk
coconut flakes
1 piece of dark chocolate
mandarin
tahini
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in medium saucepan. Add the millet and salt (optional). Cover, reduce the heat to low and cook until the water is absorbed and the millet is soft.
Let it cool and blend it in the food processor with flour, banana, dates, cinnamon and milk. Divide into serving bowls. Add coconut flakes, mandarin and dark chocolate. I put some tahini on the top. Tahini and dark chocolate will give nice bitter taste to this delicious sweet breakfast.
