COCONUT BALLS A’LA RAFFAELLO

COCONUT BALLS A’LA RAFFAELLO

Did you ever taste homemade Raffaello? I would like to introduce you COCONUT BALLS. They taste very similar. However, the little cute guys are made out of millet. Millet is a gluten free grain that can be used as a nutritious part of a meal. It is a source of important nutrients including magnesium for people who do sport. This grain can also detox your body and boost your energy level. The good news is that it can help to moisture your skin so your skin will be glowing and stay hydrated all the time. What I also like about millet is that after eating the grain, the hair growth is boosted and it make the hair thick, long and strong. There are many more great health benefits of this amazing grain, so you should definitely try coconut balls.

Coconut balls do not contain sugar at all. I used honey instead of sugar. They are also gluten free, as I said millet is one of the grain, which do not contain gluten. Homemade Raffaello is easy to make and healthy idea for dessert.

Ingredients:

1 cup of millet
100 ml coconut milk
1 tablespoon coconut oil
2 tablespoons coconut flour
2 tablespoons of honey

2 tablespoons of coconut flakes
10 almonds

Directions:

First step is cooking the millet.

How to cook millet?

2 cups water per 1 cup millet, rinse millet and them dry-roast in pot. Let it cool down.

In the food processor, combine just one cup of cooked millet with coconut milk, melted coconut oil, coconut flour, honey and coconut flakes. Mold it into balls and placed one almond in the center of each ball. Cover them with coconut flakes. Put in the fridge until firm, it can be overnight.

Enjoy!
